Boiros Earns Triple Crown Win At Lanier

Last Tuesday night, the Dirt Super Late Models took over the UMP Modified Series for the second time this season as a part of their Triple Crown series, with a 100-lap feature at Lanier.

Race Summary – After a round of Heat Races and the Pole Shuffle, Jarrid Boiros would start on the pole for the race, and quickly jumped out into the lead. As the field began to sort itself out behind him, his lead continued to grow out front. The race would end up going green to checkers without any cautions, and it allowed Boiros to build his lead out to over 3 seconds for most of the race, and he wouldn’t be caught as he would come around to pick up the checkered flag ahead of Clay Snider and Tim Bills.

Triple Crown Standings – Tim Bills finished the night with a 3rd place finish, and takes over the Triple Crown standings points lead, but the top four drivers are separated by just 2 points heading into the final race in a couple of weeks.

Up Next – The UMP Modified Series will return to regular season points racing next week with their first race at Limaland.
