SARA Fall Brawl Spectacular

The biggest short track sim racing event of the year.

The Sim Auto Racing Association’s Fall Brawl Spectacular took place from October 26 to November 1, 2015 at iRacing’s Five Flags Speedway, and featured an entire week of racing on the high banks of the Pensacola, Florida half-mile. The Super Late Models headlined the event, and were joined by the Pro Late Models, SK Modifieds, Street Stocks, and a special division for the event, the Super Trucks.

An entire week of racing started off with five straight days of qualifying, as drivers had to race their way into the feature events via time trials, a qualifying dash, and heat races. As the weekend came along, all five divisions would take the stage on LSRTV as they ran their feature events in front of a broadcasted audience.

The SK Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Super Trucks each raced their 150-lap feature events on Saturday, followed by the Pro Late Models on Sunday with a 200 lapper. Then the main event, the Brenegen.com Ford Super Late Model 250 finished off the “biggest short track sim racing event of the year” on Sunday evening, and it was Ryan Borges that made the late charge to take the victory. Borges would pocket $250 for the SLM win, which was just a portion of the $1,600 purse for the entire event.
