Last week the EastWest Modifieds Tour Mods took over the Sportsman Series for their second Triple Crown event with a 100-lap race at NHMS.

Race Summary – Conner Blaise started at the front of the field and stayed there for a majority of the race. He was able to stay out in front of “the big one”, but then pitted to ensure he had enough gas to make it to the finish. From there, Blaise charged his way back up to the front of the field and dominated the night for victory.

Race Winner – Conner Blaise – Qualified 1st, 88 laps led

Top Five – 2nd Justin Wariner, 3rd Donald Clark, 4th Samuel Roush, 5th Matt Eddy

Hard Charger – Donald Clark (+10 Positions – 13th to 3rd)

Pole Winner – Conner Blaise (28.876 seconds – new track record)

EastWest Modifieds Triple Crown – Blaise’s victory puts him as the only driver with a top five finish in both races so far, and leads by 14 points in the Triple Crown race.

Up Next – The Street Stocks will be back on track in Week 8 for 75 laps at New Smyrna.
