Race1.us Dirt Night presented by JB Trucking – Dirt Pro Late Models – Round 7 – March April 1, 2019 – Volusia Speedway Park

Last Monday the Pro Late Models made their only trip of the season to Volusia for a 75 lap A-Main.

Race Summary – Beau Brannon started in 2nd but made his way around to lead lap 1. On lap 16 however, he would give up the top spot to Hank Taylor, with Devon Morgan following him up through. Over the final 50 laps, it was a battle up front between Taylor and Morgan, with Morgan following right in the leader’s tire tracks for most of the final run. Although he had plenty of pressure from behind, Taylor wouldn’t make any mistakes and was able to hold onto the lead and picked up his first career SARA victory.

Points Battle – With drop races being factored into the standings leaving Volusia, Devon Morgan now controls the standings heading into Williams Grove.
