On Tuesday night, the Sportsman Street Stock Series returned to Langley Speedway for the first time in nearly a year, for a 100-lap feature event which served as the 10th race of their season.

Without a qualifying session for the feature event, the lineup was set based off of iRating which put James Linkiewicz out in front of the field for the green flag. Linkiewicz quickly jumped into the lead and looked strong early on through the first couple of cautions. The second and final restart of the night came on lap 24 and again Linkiewicz jumped ahead by over a second in front of Kevin J Myers.

But as the race went on, Myers closed that gap slowly and reached the rear bumper of the leader by lap 60. From there Myers waited patiently, looking for a way by or for Linkiewicz to slip up, and finally on lap 87, Myers made his move to the inside and took over the top spot with just 14 laps to go. Myers completed the pass, and went on to take the victory for his first win of the season and his 3rd career SARA win.

In the late stages of the race, the top five cars were nose-to-tail, and it was Casey Kelley that moved up into the 2nd spot in the closing laps, just ahead of Tim Bills and Joe Schaffer Jr., with Linkiewicz falling back to 5th to complete the top five.  Behind them, Darrell Hamlin, Ryan Borges, Russell Berry, Matt Rolfe, and Ian Layne rounded out the top ten.

With a 2nd place finish, Casey Kelley maintains his points lead and now leads the points standings by 22 points over 2nd place, heading into the Week 11 race at Martinsville.
