Callaway Investments Modified Series – Tour Modifieds – Round 6 – Oct. 23, 2018 – Langley Speedway

Prior to last night’s Modified Series race at Irwindale, the division was at Langley the week prior for a 125-lap feature event under the lights.

Race Summary – In the early stages of the race, Trevor Edwards made his way up front to take over the top spot from Brad Carpenter, but he would spend most of the race trying to fight off drivers behind him. Ty Majeski and Colin Allman were the two that continued to put the pressure on, with Majeski being the first to get by on lap 85. Allman also moved up, and shortly after on a lap 108 restart, Allman would get the jump from the outside groove and was able to take the lead, then held off Majeski during the final 18 laps to pick up back-to-back wins.

Race Winner – Colin Allman – Qualified 2nd, started 6th (7-car invert), 18 laps led

Top Five – 2nd Conner Blaise, 3rd Ty Majeski, 4th Trevor Edwards, 5th Dave Bodio

Hard Charger – Sam King (+11 positions, 17th to 6th)

Pole Winner – Ty Majeski – 13.135 seconds – new track record

Points Battle – Before last night’s race, Trevor Edwards held a slim 2 point lead in the standings.
