The Dunleavy’s Modified Series ran a 100-lap feature event at the Martinsville Speedway last night. Dave Bodio picked up the pole on the night, but would miss the start of the race. An 8-car invert would have dropped him back anyways as Chris Forster would be inverted to the top spot. Forster would lead until lap 19 when Trevor Edwards would make his move to the lead. While Edwards was out front, Bill Martin was charging up into the second spot, but it wasn’t enough as Edwards would prove to be strong down the stretch, and held on to pick up his 3rd career SARA victory.
