T&T Family Investments Modified Series – Tour Modifieds – Round 7 – April 2, 2019 – USA International Speedway
Race Summary – A 7 car invert at the front of the field allowed Derek Robinson to start at the front of the field, but it was just 12 laps into the race when Ty Majeski charged to the front of the field. Throughout the race, Colin Allman appeared to be the only car able to hang within a few car lengths of the 91 machine, but the gap would slowly increase as the laps wound down. A couple late restarts gave Allman and others a couple more changes to make a move, but Majeski was strong enough to hold off the field for his 4th victory of the season.
Race Winner – Ty Majeski – Started 7th, 89 laps led, 86th career SARA win
Top Five – 2nd Colin Allman, 3rd Riley Stenjem, 4th Matt Rolfe, 5th Paul Morgan Jr.
Hard Charger – Paul Morgan Jr. (+7 positions)
Pole Winner – Ty Majeski – 18.090 seconds
Points Battle – Majeski’s 4th win of the season, plus drop races being factored into the standings leaving USA, puts him out in front in the standings by 24 points over the field.
