T&T Family Investments Modified Series – Tour Modifieds – Round 1 – February 12, 2019 – Myrtle Beach Speedway.
The ground pounding Tour Modifieds began their season on Tuesday night under the lights with a 100 lap feature event at Myrtle Beach.
Race Summary – An 8-car invert to start the night brought Keith Medeiros up to the front to lead the field to the green flag. Medeiros used the track position to his advantage, but found himself playing defense all night long. For the first 62 laps, Joe Schaffer Jr. followed close behind and looked for a way by, before giving up 2nd to Ty Majeski who then took his turn looking to grab the lead. Majeski made one last effort on the final lap but it wasn’t enough as Medeiros held off the pack and went on to score his 5th career SARA victory.

Top Five – 2nd Ty Majeski, 3rd Joe Schaffer Jr., 4th Drew Kreibich, 5th Ryan Matthews

Points Battle – With the early win, Medeiros leaves Myrtle Beach with just a 1 point lead in the standings.
