Driver was also found to make aggressive contact in the 358Mod race on lap 7 by throwing a slider and RR'ing the 6 car up the track, and on lap 24 by getting into the back of the 11 car on entry causing him to spin (no caution). When a pass is being attempted from behind, drivers are not to block, chop, or aggressively alter their race line in attempt to prevent a passing car from getting by. If a driver blocks or chops another car that is attempting to pass, they will be held responsible for any contact and may be subject to penalty. A driver from The Shop team claimed a caution that was very clearly not their fault in effort to avoid having another team member claim the caution and face possible penalties. Teams and team owners in the Super Series are responsible for their cars and their drivers. We can not allow drivers/teams to attempt to manipulate the system.

Driver was found to make aggressive contact on lap 9 of the Heat Race by getting into the side of the 71 car causing both cars to lose spots, as well as on lap 34 in the Race by pushing up into the side of the 69 car causing an incident. When facilitating a pass, it is the responsibility of the car attempting to pass to facilitate a safe and clean overtake, and drivers are not to make door-to-door contact to complete a pass. Please refer to section 3.5 of the Rulebook regarding Passing Etiquette.

Unclaimed Caution
Driver was found to be at fault for the lap 47 caution by coming down across the nose of the 11 car on entry causing them to spin. When a pass is being attempted from behind, drivers are not to block, chop, or aggressively alter their race line in attempt to prevent a passing car from getting by. Drivers are strongly encouraged to claim fault for causing a caution during the race if they were the cause. Please refer to section 3.6 of the Rulebook regarding Cautions.
