This past Thursday night, the TUNDRA Super Sim Series traveled up to the Stafford Motor Speedway for the Lokotoco Designs 125. A total of 39 cars would attempt to qualify for the event, with 30 cars taking the starting grid.

Race Winner – Ty Majeski made his way past Colin Allman on lap 23, and never looked back. He would go on to pick up his 76th career SARA victory, and remains undefeated at Stafford with 8 wins and 8 career SARA starts at the track across all divisions.

Race Summary – Landon Sciacca and Colin Allman led the field to the green flag after receiving the invert, and each shared the lead early on in the race, but it didn’t take long for Ty Majeski to join the fight. Majeski charged from 5th on the opening green flag run, to take the lead by lap 23 just before the first caution. Throughout the remainder of the race, much of the battle was for spots throughout the top five and top ten, all while Majeski was pulling away out front. One last restart would bunch the field up with less than five laps to go, but an immediate caution would fly and Majeski would lead the field under the checkered and yellow flags for the win.

Pole Award – Majeski earned his 87th career SARA pole with a lap of 18.757 seconds.

Hard Charger – Jason Miller started nearly shotgun on the field in 29th, and worked his way forward all night before finishing in the 13th spot, gaining 16 positions.

Rookie of the Race – Ashton Crowder made his first career SARA start and battled in-and-out of the top ten all night before finishing in the 7th position.

Title Fight – With a pair of runner-up finishes to start the season, Bill Martin leads the standings by two points over Joe Schaffer Jr.

Up Next – The TUNDRA Super Sim Series will visit The Bullring at Las Vegas in Week 3 with a 125-lap feature event..
