Dreamer Racing Super Series – Super Late Models – Round 6 – March 28, 2019 – The Milwaukee Mile

Last week the Super Series traveled from the smallest track on the schedule to the longest with a 100 lap race at Milwaukee in the Salty Hookz 100 for Round 6.

Race Summary – Ryan Matthews had a quick start to the race, as he moved up from 3rd to take the lead away from Jacob Harberts on lap 6. From there he held a strong lead before the competition caution for fuel at lap 30 bunched the field back up. For a majority of the final 65 laps, Dallas Pataska and Christian Challiner were able to maintain pace with the leader, waiting to make a move as the top three broke away out front. But a couple late cautions allowed Matthews to maintain the advantage on the restarts, and he would hold off the pack behind him to score his first win of the season.
