Dreamer Racing Super Series – Super Late Models – Round 10 – April 25, 2019 – Five Flags Speedway

Last Thursday night, the stars of the Super Series took on the home of our Fall Brawl Spectacular, the Five Flags Speedway, and a full field of 30 cars battled it out for 150 laps in the Canfield Autobody 150.

Race Summary – Joe Schaffer Jr. picked up some bonus points for leading the early stages of the race, but after the race’s 2nd and final restart on lap 31, Jimmy Mullis took over the lead a few laps later. Mullis would bring Devon Morgan along with him to the front of the field, and the two would run nose-to-tail over the next 60 laps. As the two navigated through lapped traffic, Morgan finally made a move to the bottom, and they battled side-by-side for a handful of laps before Morgan eventually got the advantage on lap 107. Over the final 44 circuits, the lead never grew more than a few car lengths for Morgan, but he was strong enough to hold on for his second victory of the season.
