This past Thursday night the TUNDRA Super Sim Series visited “The Magic Mile” at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway for a 100-lap race in the Downeast Chassisworx 100. A total of 37 drivers would attempt to qualify with 30 making the feature grid.

Race Winner – Jimmy Mullis quickly got to the lead on lap 3, and dominated the remainder of the race to pick up his first career SARA victory.

Race Summary – Samuel Roush used the 8-car invert to lead the field to the green flag but it was short lived with Jimmy Mullis made his move to the lead. Mullis enjoyed a 1.3 second lead at one point but after some restarts, Landon Sciacca was making up ground and putting the pressure on, and nosed ahead at one point on lap 30 but Mullis was able to keep the momentum and the lead. During a 20-lap green flag run to the finish, Sciacca and Joe Schaffer Jr. were nose-to-tail with the leader but a contact with three laps to go allowed Mullis to pull away for the victory.

Pole Award – Tim Bills picked up his 42nd career SARA pole with a lap of 28.583 seconds.

Hard Charger – Matt Eddy and Kyle Souza both used a provisional to make the field and ended the night gaining 18 spots on the night for 10th and 12th place finishes, respectively.

Rookie of the Race – Jimmy Mullis picked up the win to be the Rookie of the Race for the second straight week.

Title Fight – With another solid podium finish, Joe Schaffer Jr. extends his points lead out 24 points over Adam Benefiel after four races.

Up Next – The TUNDRA Super Sim Series run two races next week, with the #RoadToTheFallBrawl Non-Winners race on Wednesday at Five Flags, and a regular season points race at South Boston on Thursday.
