Dreamer Racing Super Series – Super Late Models – Round 9 – April 18, 2019 – Stafford Speedway

With the season beginning to wind down, the Super Series took on Stafford last Thursday night for Round 9, with a 150 lap race in the Salty Hookz 150.

Race Summary – An 8-car invert brought a former Stafford winner in David Krikorian to the front of the field, however his time up front was short lived as Jimmy Mullis made quick work to take over the top spot on lap 9. After a couple of first half cautions, Mullis was able to hold off Krikorian, Joe Schaffer Jr. and Colin Allman, and then was able to use the final 86 lap run to the finish to extend his gap out front. Mullis’ lead would grow over two seconds as navigated through lapped traffic, and he would go on to dominate the race for his first win of the season.
