Sim Marketing Solutions Super Series – Super Late Models – Round 7 – November 29, 2018 – The Bullring at LVMS

Last Week the Super Series made the trip out west to take on The Bullring for 150 laps under the lights in Round 7 of the season in the running of the Harding Motorsports Supply 150.

Race Summary – Ryan Matthews took over the lead early in the race, but had his hands full with Jimmy Mullis for a majority of the first 100 laps. Mullis was able to get by Matthews for the lead on two separate occasions, once on lap 26, and again later on lap 87, but both times Matthews was able to make the crossover to retake the top spot. Mullis learned from those moves and made the third attempt work as he moved to the bottom on lap 96 and was able secure the spot. Despite some pressure at times during the final 50 laps, Mullis held off the field and went on to pick up his 2nd win of the season.

Race Winner – Jimmy Mullis – Started 5th (invert), 60 laps led

Top Five – 2nd Ryan Doucette, 3rd Zack Novak, 4th Ryan Matthews, 5th Michael Goddard

Pole Winner – Ryan Doucette (13.832 seconds)

Hard Charger – Michael Goddard (+17 positions, 22nd to 5th)

Points Battle – With the victory, Mullis extends his points lead up to 21 in the standings, with four races remaining on the schedule.

HidesPride Head2Head Throwdown – Row 12 on the grid was selected at random for drivers to compete head-to-head, with Chris Canfield (8th) finishing ahead of Fred Moreau (24th) to win the Throwdown.
