Last night, the Sprint Series with the 360 Non-Wing Sprint cars returned to Eldora for another 40 lap race in the Big-E Classic.

Race Winner – Before this season, Kenneth Drake had a best career finish of 12th on asphalt in SARA, but in just the second week of Summer Season, he went to victory lane for his first SARA win. Drake moved up from 8th to 2nd in his Heat Race, and then made a late charge in the A-Main, moving up from 3rd to 1st in just two laps to take the lead on lap 34, and held off early race leader Cody Olsen in the closing laps for the victory.

Heat Winners – Seth DeMerchant and Cody Olsen both drew pole for their Heat Races and would hold on to pick up the Heat Race wins.

Hard Charger – Christian Pedersen had a tough Heat Race, dropping out early, which forced him to start back in the 19th spot. He would rebound during the race though, climbing as high as 4th before making contact with the wall, but he would once again recover and finish in 8th, gaining 11 spots on the night.

Biggest Loser – Derek Robinson started from the outside of the front row for the A-Main but made contact with the wall coming to the green, ultimately breaking some parts which forced him to pit road early, and he would drop 15 spots to his 17th place finish.

Title Fight – Darrell Hamlin followed up his Week 1 win with another top five finish and leads the points standings, with Drake and David Krikorian just 7 points back in 2nd. Next week the series will head to Volusia for a 40 lap feature.
