Callaway Investments Sportsman Series – Street Stocks – Race 4 – June 19, 2018 – Langley Speedway

After two weeks off, the Street Stocks returned to the track last night at Langley for a 100-lap feature.

Race Summary – Matt Rolfe led the field to the green flag and used a couple of restarts to jump out ahead of the field. But as the race progressed, he started receiving a lot of pressure from a familiar face with Joe Schaffer Jr. waiting to make his move. Schaffer would finally duck to the inside of Rolfe with just 20 laps to go, and held on to pick up the checkered flag, for his 45th career SARA victory

Race Winner – Joe Schaffer Jr. – Qualified 2nd, started 5th (invert), 20 laps led

Top Five – 2nd Matt Rolfe, 3rd Kyle Souza, 4th Adam Josselyn, 5th Russell Charneski

Hard Charger – Nick Zautner (+1 Position – 7th to 6th)

Top Rookie – Adam Josselyn (4th)

Pole Winner – Adam Josselyn (16.790 seconds – 1st career pole)

Points Battle – Schaffer’s 3rd win of the season keeps him on top of the standings by a large amount, up 42 points over Kyle Souza

Up Next – Next week the Street Stocks will switch from the tight bullring of Langley to the super speedway at Michigan for a 60-lap race.
