Race1.us Dirt Night presented by JB Trucking – Street Stocks – Round 2 – Sept. 24, 2018 – Limaland
Round 2 of the season saw the Dirt Street Stocks take on Limaland for 75-laps, and 48 drivers attempt to qualify for just 24 spots in the A-Main.
Race Summary – After an invert at the front of the field, Howard Weaver led the field to the green flag and would lead all 75 laps to pick up the win. It wasn’t that easy though as Ryan Doucette battled Weaver during the middle stages of the race, including getting side-by-side at the line at one point. But Weaver would hold on and then held off the field on a couple late restarts to pick up his first SARA win.
Race Winner – Howard Weaver – Started 1st (invert), 75 laps led
Top Five – 2nd Nicholas Johnston, 3rd Bobby Rafferty, 4th Joe Schaffer Jr., 5th Dave Bodio
Hard Chargers – Christian Pedersen (+16 Positions, 23rd to 7th)
Heat Winners – Bobby Rafferty, Patrick Fogel, Derek Robinson, Donald Clark
Points Battle – After two rounds, Ryan Doucette leads Dave Bodio by a single point as both drivers have had a solid start to the season.
