T&T Family Investments Modified Series – Tour Modifieds – Round 3 – February 26, 2019 – Stafford Speedway.
Last Tuesday night the Modified rolled into their natural environment at Stafford for a 100 lap feature event.
Race Summary – When the green flag dropped, Ryan Matthews was leading the field to the start and jumped into the early lead, but wasn’t able to pull away. Joe Schaffer Jr. looked for a way by for over 20 laps, but as they battled it allowed Ty Majeski to catch up from his 6th starting spot, and he moved up to 2nd on lap 25. From there it took Majeski 10 laps to work over Matthews for the lead, before eventually making the move and taking over out front. A couple late starts erased the nearly 5 second lead he would build, but Majeski was able to hold off the field to pick up his 12th straight win at Stafford across all SARA divisions.

Top Five – 2nd Riley Stenjem, 3rd Kyle Souza, 4th Devon Morgan, 5th Matt Rolfe

Points Battle – A second win for Majeski keeps him atop the standings by 28 points over the field, heading into next week’s race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway
