The TUNDRA Super Sim Series presented by LOKOTOCO Designs ran their fifth race of the season on Thursday night with the running of the HidesPride.com 150 at Oxford Plains Speedway.

Race Winner – Jimmy Mullis started from the pole position and never relinquished the lead en route to his third career SARA win behind the wheel of the No. 40.

Race Summary – Although Tim Bills was the quickest car in time trials, a six-car invert put Jimmy Mullis on the pole for the 150-lap event. Although Mullis controlled the race, David Krikorian put the pressure on for the lead multiple times throughout the night, but some untimely cautions would slow his advances. During the final run to the green flag run, Mullis pulled away to score the victory.

Pole Award – Tim Bills put up a time of 14.043 seconds in qualifying, coming up just short of the track record. But, it was enough to capture the pole award.

Hard Charger – Scott Austin gained eight spots on the night, climbing from 24th to 16th.

Rookie of the Race – Ryan Matthews started eighth and finished eighth as the highest rookie.

Title Fight – With his victory, Mullis extended his points lead to 38 points over Joe Schaffer Jr., as the series heads into the second half of the schedule.

Up Next – The TUNDRA Super Sim Series presented by LOKOTOCO Designs will move to Concord Speedway next week for the Downeast Chassisworx 150.
